Eric Danso is a passionate and experienced educationist with a strong commitment to identifying, understanding, tackling, and overcoming barriers such as cultural norms, biases, policies, and economic needs that block the girl child from attaining higher education and professional training; he envisions a world where all children can live in peace, with hope and joy, where the education system is just and inclusive. He is also a faithful Christian whose faith guides his entire life and work.

Eric has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and women in rural Ghana and he is committed to serve them with humility and compassion.

He is a co-founder of the DALET School project that provides a variety of programs and services to children and youth in Larbie-Djan villages and its environs. These programs include preschool education, after-school tutoring, vocational training, life skills workshops, health and nutrition education, and relief services to Zongo communities.

Eric's work has made a significant impact on the lives of the children and youth he serves as he has assisted many high school students to realize their dreams.He has been the secretary of the Methodist Senior High School Welfare Association. He also holds the position of form master in the senior high school he teaches. He is also a patron of the Adolescent Health Club and Writers Debaters and Drama Club all in Methodist Senior High School.

In his current role as the Director of Communication and Education, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of communication, education programs, reporting, and accountability for the nonprofit programs. He also leads DALET's monitoring and evaluation (M & E) team for development programs planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Eric is a licensed Teacher, and he is also a law student in the College of Humanities, University of Ghana pursuing a three-year full-time course of study leading to the award of a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. He holds a Bachelor of Education (Arts) from University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast.

Eric is highly skilled and experienced in the teaching profession with a deep commitment to serving others. He is a valuable asset to DALET and to the children and families that we serve in the rural communities.
