Samuel Gyamfi Asiedu

Samuel Gyamfi Asiedu is a passionate and experienced educationist with a strong commitment to serving the needs of children living in poverty and youth lacking employable skills. He is also a devout Christian whose faith guides his entire life and work.

Samuel has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and youth in rural Ghana. He saw firsthand how many children were engaged in child labor and suffered poverty, and he was determined to make a difference. In April 2016, he founded DALET acommunity-based NGO to provide preschool learning activities for children and to promote rural community development.

The NGO has since grown to provide a variety of programs and services to children and youth in Larbie - Djan villages and its environs. These programs include preschool education, after-school tutoring, vocational training, life skills workshops, health and nutrition education, and relief services to Zongo communities.

Samuel's work has made a significant impact on the lives of the children and youth he serves. He is a dedicated and visionary leader, who is committed to making a difference in his community. Samuel has over 10 years of experience in field operations, including construction, business operations, and occupational health and safety management. He has also served in various nonprofit leadership positions, including public relations officer for the Mechanical and Automotive Engineering Technology Students’ Association. In Samuel’s current role as Director of Operations at DALET, he is responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for nonprofit programs. He also leads DALET's local community development and relief services planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Samuel is a certified Management Professional and a student member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), Ghana. He holds a Diploma in Transport and Road Safety Management from the University of Cape Coast, Cape Coast; and a final year student pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Automotive Technology Education from the University of Education, Winneba (UEW-K); and a certification in Management Science. Samuel has received national recognition through the Ghana@60 and Coca-Cola Young Leaders Awards in 2017, he holds a certificate of honor for an Outstanding Performance in Education.

Samuel is a highly skilled and experienced management professional with a deep commitment to serving others. He is a valuable asset to DALET and to the children and families that we serve in the rural communities.
